Now our little ones are getting heavier and heavier it is now more important than ever to protect your back and shoulders when you can.

I am getting a lot of patients lately especially with shoulder pain from carrying their babies everywhere.

Now our little ones are able to stand and walk a bit always get your baby to stand in his cot before lifting him out to limit the amount of bending you have to do. Make sure you suck your tummy in when you lift to provide a corset of support with your muscles for your spine.

Going up stairs? Let your baby climb the stairs in front of you to save you doing all the carrying. The more your baby can walk for himself the better.

Hope this helps and if you have any questions or comments please feel free to put them below.

Centre Parcs is fantastic with a 1 year old by louisehampton

We have just got back from a fantastic holiday in Centre Parcs. It is such a great place to relax and so much for children to do.

There are no cars so you have to walk or cycle everywhere which is very good exercise. There is also a fantastic swimming pool there which is great as its low impact on the joints. The hot pools were wonderful for resting aching muscles and you could always go for a massage at the spa.

Centre Parcs is surrounded by woodland so there is so much wildlife. Toby loved to chase the ducks and squirrels and we even saw a few deer.

So if you are looking for a holiday with a difference with play areas at every restaurant I would definitely reccomend Centre Parcs.
